Employees Flew Down the 4th Largest Building in Northern Ireland to Support Friends of the Cancer Centre

Belfast Charity - Salt Communications Took on the Tower

On Saturday 11th May 2019, Salt Communications flew down Belfast City Hospitals famous yellow tower block and Northern Ireland’s 4th tallest building. Salt Communications staff made their 190ft adrenaline-filled descent right in the heart of the city to raise money for Friends of the Cancer Centre.

Friends of the Cancer Centre, based at the heart of the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, is one of the leading cancer charities in Northern Ireland working to support cancer patients and their families through key projects in the areas of clinical care, patient comforts, and research. The charity funds life-saving and life-changing projects that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of thousands of local people affected by cancer and in the last year alone, Friends of the Cancer Centre has put £1.2million back into local cancer services.
