Salt Communications Graduates from the LORCA 3 Cohort

LORCA 3 Cohort - SaltDNA Graduate from LORCA 3 Cohort

Over the last 12 months, Salt Communications have been delighted to work closely with London Office for Rapid Cybersecurity Advancement (LORCA) as part of their third cohort of cyber companies that has enabled us to further develop sales opportunities, build new partnerships and expand our team. On 25th June 2020, Salt Communications joined LORCA and the 14 other cohort members for the third cohort graduation.

Having been selected in the LORCA 3 cohort in June 2019, Salt Communications joined the programme that was set out to support the most promising cyber solutions that can help organisations to stay safe in a connected world. LORCA’s cybersecurity ecosystem connects startups, scaleups, academics, investors, government and industry from around the world to address the biggest security challenges facing the digital economy.

The London Office for Rapid Cybersecurity Advancement (LORCA) program provided Salt Communications with innovative solutions that matched our challenge areas to improve our growth potential. This was delivered by Plexal’s innovation team, the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT) at Queen’s University Belfast and Deloitte’s cyber team.

“It’s somewhat bittersweet to be graduating from this fantastic cohort. We’re very fortunate to have met such a wide range of international companies whilst being on this journey. LORCA has provided Sal Communications with an excellent platform to engage with industry experts, allowing us to improve development and sales processes. We would highly recommend this cohort to companies who wish to scale up and are open to sharing the journey and building their organisation,” said John Bailie, Head of Business Development and Marketing at Salt Communications.

Joe Boyle, CEO at Salt Communications who was a member of the panel on the virtual LORCA Graduation discussed how LORCA has moved Salt Communications on from a startup level company to a growing company. Joe also mentioned being part of something this big really does show that you are pushing your company to make that transition, when you are in this together with similar people striving to move their company to the next level.

“LORCA exists to bring cutting-edge technology to market and to enable the most promising cyber innovators to become globally competitive businesses,” said LORCA programme director Saj Huq.

As a team we would like to thank all involved in all their efforts of scaling up Salt Communications. We graduate from this cohort feeling stronger than ever and are ready to continue securing the world’s communications. We look forward to continuing our relationships with the companies connected with LORCA and wish all other cohort members the best of luck for their future.
