Salt Communications, the first company to offer encrypted communications between mobile and desktop devices with full, centralized control for the enterprise are pleased to announce our new compliance offering. The new Salt Communications compliance setting allows organisations to maintain the highest level of security and archive encrypted messages within an on-premise infrastructure.
With the emergence of data collection regulations such as MiFID II and GDPR, compliance has quickly become a necessity within organisations. In a time when cybersecurity is paramount, the ability for organisations to implement a compliant and encrypted communications system is crucial. Salt Communications’ new offering facilitates archiving messages with the assurance of complete privacy.
“This latest announcement is yet another example of how Salt Communications continues to develop key features driven by major trends. A number of our Financial and Enterprise clients have expressed concerns with upcoming regulations for data collection,” said John Bailie, Marketing Manager at Salt Communications. “With an increasingly mobile workforce, secure communications is a critical component of safe operations in the modern world. We protect the enterprise’s private conversations while keeping the business compliant.”
Salt Communications’ newest compliance capability adds to pre-existing options of ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Privacy’ management options. The ‘Enterprise’ management option allows organisations to generate high level communication reports. Message content is not stored but an administrator has access to communication usage statistics. Alternatively, Salt Communications ‘Privacy’ option guarantees that no metadata is stored and no user statistics available.
The solution is available immediately. To find out more about the Salt Communications Compliance option, or to avail of a free trial of the SaltMobile and SaltDesktop solution contact our sales team on sales@saltcommunications.com.
