Salt Communications are pleased to announce that CEO, Joe Boyle, will be sitting on a panel at the annual OWASP AppSec EU Security Conference where he will be discussing the opportunities and challenges for CyberSecurity startups in the region. The discussion will take place at the AppSec Belfast event in the Waterfront Conference Centre on Wednesday 10th May 2017, where the panel will consider the stages that startups go through to bring a successful product to market. This will be an informative event aimed at helping software and IT professionals gain first-hand access to the AppSecEU 2017 speakers, OWASP community, sponsors and delegates from across the globe.
The panel discussion will reflect on the lessons that the speakers have learned from launching startup companies such as Salt Communications. They will also touch upon the growth of Cyber Security within Belfast, a city that is widely recognised as the Cyber Security Capital of Europe.
“Salt Communications are delighted to be involved in the OWASP AppSec event here in Belfast. We’re looking forward to sharing some of the experiences we’ve had whilst growing Salt Communications and other startups we’ve launched,” said Joe Boyle, CEO at Salt Communications. “The role of Cyber Security for the enterprise has never been more important, and at this time companies like Salt Communications are establishing themselves as key contributors in this market. With the city’s growing reputation, it’s perfect timing for the OWASP AppSEC Conference to be held in Belfast.”
The OWASP AppSec EU Security Conference will run from the 8th – 12th May 2017 and offers three days of training courses led by industry experts, followed by a two-day conference. The event will take place at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall Conference Centre.
