Salt Communications travelled to London to attend Infosecurity Europe 2019 which is the region’s number one Infosecurity event. Presenting Europe’s largest and most comprehensive programme with over 400 exhibitors who are showcasing the most relevant information security solutions and products to 13,500 visitors.

Over the three days at Infosec the whole industry came together to learn about and purchase start-of-the-art products. This interactive event allowed Salt Communications representatives as visitors to engage with and learn more about the freshest cybersecurity products, as well as attend an extensive range of educational sessions.

Infosecurity Europe 2019 provided industries with the insight they needed to understand the ongoing threat and how important securing your communications really is. This allowed us to choose from over 200 sessions and build a customised agenda we could tailor to our needs, gain technical know-how from leading thought-leaders on how to solve key challenges on the latest threats, assessing new technologies and asking technical questions. Our trip has emphasised to bodies and organisations around the globe in a range of divergent industries the importance and need for secure communications.

“Vincent Kearney, Head of iOS at Salt Communications said, “If you work in tech and weren’t at InfoSec 2019 you definitely missed out! As organisations become increasingly unpredictable we are moving into a new era of Cybersecurity. One where there is machine learning, increased connectivity and rising digital dangers to infrastructure present new and complex dangers. Against this background the Infosec network is entrusted with improving data security to oversee and reduce expanding dangers to upgrade organisational resilience.”

During Salt Communications’ trip, the conversations that we had around mobile security and the latest WhatsApp hack further emphasised the need for secure communications for official organisations. With the lack of confidence in consumer messaging applications and the heightened understanding of why organisations need to have full control over their communications, InfoSec 2019 provided Salt Communications’ with the perfect platform to meet with potential customers and partners.

We look forward to connecting with everyone that we met at the event during our three days in London to further progress our conversations and form successful business partnerships.
