New Updates Allow Users to Share Secure Files Through Group Messaging on SaltDesktop

Salt Communications, the leader in secure mobile communications and compliance for the enterprise are delighted to announce major product enhancements to the SaltDesktop Application. Building on the existing strong enterprise capabilities of controlled secure image transfer, conference calling and mobile group chat within closed user circles, Salt Communications customers can now share sensitive business related documents with the support of group messaging from the SaltDesktop (available on Mac OS X and Windows).

The features added to the SaltDesktop enable organisations to operate more efficiently with the knowledge that their communications will remain secure. The ability to send secure file attachments for up to 15 users is ideal for legal firms and healthcare providers, who have in recent times come under increased pressure to improve the security of client and patient information.

“The enhancements to the recently announced SaltDesktop is a huge development for the Enterprise Solution,” said Bob Henderson, CEO of iSG. “The new file attachment and group messaging features on SaltDesktop highlight once again the high levels of innovation shown by Salt Communications. These enhancements ensure full communication capabilities between SaltMobile and SaltDesktop and provide iSG, as a partner of Salt Communications, with an opportunity to address many more use cases.”
