New mobile reporting capability helps enterprise and government organisations capture critical event information faster and improve operational response outcomes

The new capability enables at-risk workers to submit structured reports from their mobile devices, capturing key details including location, incident time, comments and attachments.

Salt’s Threat Reporting module works alongside the market leading secure communications platform and enables organisations to gather specific information from end users via their mobile devices to be shared centrally. Designed for security conscious, high risk and mission critical environments, Threat Reporting helps teams capture the who, what, when and where of an event in an instant, giving risk managers the information they need to quickly assess situations and take action. 

Following successful trials with large enterprise and government agencies, Salt Communications is bringing Threat Reporting to market to help organisations improve clarity, increase reporting efficiency and accelerate response times for critical incidents.

Threat Reporting uses short, predefined reporting flows that guide users through the process of submitting structured information quickly and consistently. Categories can be configured to suit each organisation, allowing Salt customers to capture the exact information needed for different event types, incidents or operational scenarios.

Each report includes location, incident time, further details, comments and attachments. Users can review all information before submission, helping improve accuracy and confidence in the report.

Central command can access submitted reports through the Salt Reporting Portal, where they can view reports across available categories, review attached details and take any necessary action.  Salt also integrates a customized version of reports into major Threat Intelligence solutions using well defined APIs.
