What does your current role entail at Salt Communications? 

I’m responsible for maintaining the iOS platform project, implementing new features and bug fixing.

What has challenged you within the industry? 

This has been the first time I’ve worked with XMPP technology and it’s been a learning curve, but new challenges keep you interested.

What is the best part of your job at Salt Communications? 

It’s always a challenge picking up a mature code base and everyone has been very welcoming and tolerant of a new starter, which makes life very much easier.

What advice would you give to others starting out in their career in the cybersecurity industry? 

Keep an enquiring mind throughout your career. There’s lots of exciting opportunities and technologies to work with and you’ll never stop learning.
