Job Role: iOS Developer
Time with the company: June 2022 – present
What attracted you to Salt Communications?
The project type and the team. I met the team in person for the first time a week after I started working at Salt Communications, it was an incredible day. The whole team is very supportive and helpful, they always give this feeling, you have all opportunities to grow and be more productive.
When does your current role entail at Salt Communications?
At the moment I’m helping to develop new features and implementing changes to the current product functionality, fixing bugs and code refactoring. Step by step I’m adapting myself to the project after a week of testing its functionality and improving some translations. I believe the full integration into the project will occur as soon as I get several tasks completed as a preparation before the full merge.
What has challenged you within the industry?
The technology is developing so fast and people who are involved in it have to be always “up to date”. Let’s say I keep improving my technical skills, it’s an “endless” studying process.
What is the best part of your job at Salt Communications?
Watching the result of my work making its impact, and the cooperation between team members.
What advice would you give to others starting out in their career in the cybersecurity industry?
Never stop learning and listen to what your heart tells you. Ask your questions and never think “this is a stupid question” otherwise it’ll negatively impact you in long term.
